PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE:
Sometimes a Manager comes across some Problems, in which he/she should not be involved. It is important for the Manager to recognize, when a Person needs Professional Assistance. The Problems may include Alcoholism, Mental & Psycho-logical Problem, Sexual Maladjustment, Severe Depression, Persecution -Complexes, Criminal Tendencies, Violet Temper & other Manifestation of Emotional Sickness, should only be handled by a Professional in a Professional way.
When Professional Help is required, the Manager should let the Representatives
Know, how & where he/she can get it. When possible, the Manager should help the
Employee get the required assistance. The Regional Manager is also an Excellent
Resource, when Professional Assistance is indicated.
The ability to Assist Professionally, is a difficult Art & Everybody cannot Master it.
Whether we like it or not, Professional Assistance is one of the Prime Responsibility of a Manager. Each Manager should always be Prepared to go for it, as & when Required. It is not a simple tool to Replace the Poor assistance, instead it is a
Process, in which a District Manager helps the Representative find the Root-Cause of his/her Problem, so as the Employee can solve the Problem.
There may be Cases, where the Manager will be able to help Rescue an Employee,
Who otherwise would have been lost. Such accomplishment Ranks the Manager in
a most Rewarding & Memorable Status for the Most Difficult Job done, puts him further above the Crowd.
